Job Description

The Acute Care Surgical Services portfolio Continuous Improvement Consultant reports to the Director of Surgical Services and takes the lead in quality improvement strategies. The positon provides leadership, development and implementation support and teaching for Surgical Services, with a strong link to provincial direction as identified in the Acute Surgical Services strategic goals. Key areas of responsibility include the support of selected standards within operational areas impacted by improvement activities, including supporting measures, methodologies and outcomes as identified in the provincial plan for Surgical Services. This position will support the Surgical Services portfolio in Regina and Saskatoon and as such must demonstrate through personal commitment, support for the strategies, values, culture and beliefs of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The incumbent must support innovation and contribute to a positive working climate which is client centric.

Experience
Five years' experience in facilitating groups in planning, evaluation and quality improvement.
