Job description

A warehouse that stocks many boxes of everyday and seasonal products is looking for a Receiving Clerk for their new warehouse in Laval.
This position involves lifting loads between 2 and 25 lbs. The loads are not heavy, but the task is repetitive and timed. That's the challenge of the job. You'll be using an electric pallet truck on a daily basis. Don't worry, we'll teach you how to use it.
Schedules:
- Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm
Salary:
DAY: The first week of 37.5 hours is paid at $20/hour.
After that, salary increases to $21/hour
2 paid 15-minute breaks
30-minute unpaid lunch break

Responsibilities
The receiving clerk will, among other things:
- Unload product boxes from trucks (between 2 and 12lbs)
- Operate an electric pallet truck (on-the-job training)
- Meet deadlines
- Keep shipping and receiving logs
- Ensure incoming and outgoing products are in good condition
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization and safety
- Ensure seamless quality control of merchandise
Qualifications
Skills expected of an excellent goods receiving clerk:
- Warehouse or industrial experience
- Ability to walk with equipment and/or stand during shift
- Ability to repeat the same movement several times
- Ability to lift, carry, push and pull
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Attention to detail and good time management
- Able to handle pressure
- Fluent in reading, writing and speaking French OR English.
