Job description

Position: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Dorval – Hybrid
Job Type: Permanent, full-time

A well-established production/distributor is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for their West Island office.

  In this role, you will be managing the transportation, inventory management decisions, and delivery system of essential goods to sell to Canada and the United States.

As the Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

 - Coordinating and tracking ocean containers from the port to the client/warehouse
- Processing and following up on custom documentation
- Interacting with third-party logistic providers (ocean carriers, forwarders, warehouses, truckers)
- Updating shipment information
- Executing other tasks as required

  Qualifications:

 - At least 2 years of experience in logistics, purchasing or a related field
- Experience with import logistics is an asset
- Bilingual to support clients outside of Quebec
- Good computer skills in Excel and SAP
- A team player who can work in a fast-paced environment
- Well organized, ability to multi-task, and attentive to details
