Our client is one of Vancouver’s leading General Contractors with considerable expertise in the management of varied commercial, institutional and residential projects. The company head office is located in Burnaby and they also have an office located in Ontario. Most of the projects undertaken are on a construction management basis for repeat clients. Your new role
We need to hire a Project Manager to run a $15m multifamily wood frame project that is due to start imminently. The project is a construction management form of contract. The role will report to the Project Director and will involve working with an experienced Superintendent that is already assigned to the project. The project is located in North Vancouver, but the PM will be able to split their time between the Burnaby office, working from home and regular site visits.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be a Project Manager with 5+ years of experience that is able to run a project largely independently. You must be a driven, articulate individual capable of forging positive lasting relationships both internally, and with external clients, consultants and trade contractors. Ideally, we are looking for someone that is knowledgeable about wood frame construction methodology that has successfully managed a multifamily project from start to finish in the past.
