About this opportunity

The Customer Experience team is looking for an individual to assist in 5G Quality Assurance testing to hunt for potential flaws in the radio base station software. This role involves learning the concepts and features that make up the LTE, NR, and IoT standards by working with real world equipment. In this job the successful candidate can gain experience with different test tools and automation (scripting & tool creation). This can be a lively job that provides great experience for those interested in Digital Transformation (Cloud Native, Machine Learning, AI).

What you will do

• Help with activities related to product testing.
• Better understand of the 5G technology and associated measurement data, also the process of quality assurance testing.
• Obtain introductory knowledge of various third-party software tools, such as Microsoft Applications, Jupyter, GIT & GitHub, Jenkins, and Jira which are staples in many technology companies.
• Professional communications and different soft skills and getting familiar with Ericsson workplace and guidelines and the work of different teams across Ericsson.
• Build a foundation in data related skills, data visualization, python programming for ML/AI, basics of Software Development, and Automation.
• Participate in leveraging the skills you have from school towards live business process in testing capacity, and work for the other domains as well to improve the workflow at Ericsson.
