Job description

Our client, a leader in the Education industry, is looking for a Communications, Digital content, and Brand Specialist to help
grow the ITS brand, plan and produce digital content, improve the client experience, and strengthen internal communications.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional or someone looking to grow their experience in communications, writing, and editing, and is passionate about the role content plays in client service.

Marketing and commerce experience is also relevant.

As a valued member of our team, you’ll work closely with the ITS director and staff to develop digital content, design and manage a content cycle, and build an internal brand and communications resource hub.

Advantages
- This is a hybrid role with 2 -3 days per week expected to be ON-SITE at the their Mississauga location

Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

· Re-imagine and launch ITS digital presence, anchored in via our website and service portal

· Plan, research, write, edit, proof, and fact check a variety of communications materials (newsletter content, website content, news stories, slide decks, and more)


· Liaise with colleagues about content development

· Design and maintain a content calendar and manage a content backlog

· Coordinate and support work-study student writer(s) and photographer(s)

· Protect and develop our voice and brand

· Liaise and collaborate with colleagues to produce creative assets

· Collaborate with the communication, business improvement, and sustainability teams on special projects

Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKUNG FOR:
· You create and are passionate about producing high-quality digital content

· You have five years of practical experience with communications, digital content strategy, and marketing

· You have experience writing or editing digital content

· You have excellent written and verbal communication skills

· You’re able to effectively balance multiple initiatives and deadlines

· You’re familiar with how to write and edit to Canadian Press (CP) Style (not required but an asset)
