Job description
Tents & Events, a division of Equipment World Rentals is seeking summer staff to join our Tent Crew Team. Our Tent crew completes the setup, takedown, maintenance of tents, furnishings, and tableware for events and gatherings around Thunder Bay. This seasonal opportunity is a great way to gain new valuable transferrable skills, keep active and work outdoors.
Responsibilities will include:
• the on-site set up/take down of tent and party equipment
• Assist with general care and maintenance of tents and party equipment (including washing, patching, cleaning, basic repairs – Preventative Maintenance etc)
• Ensure rental products are delivered in a timely manner to customers’ sites
• Ensure function set-ups are completed in a timely and accurate manner; assist with breakdown of event equipment to allow for facility cleaning
• Ensure that the items listed on the renter’s contract are delivered and accurate
• Assist with retrieving, loading and unloading of rental products and equipment
• Act in accordance with safety policies and procedures

Hours of Work: Hours for this position may vary based on client demands
