At IMP Solutions, we provide IT products, and IT and business consulting services to our clients across Canada. We are searching for an I.T. Administrator to join our Managed Services team in Halifax, NS.

What You Will Do:
- Server Administration, including but not limited to Active Directory Administration, Group Policy, RDS, Patching, ESX and Hyper-V, DHCP, DNS, etc.
- Network Administration, including but not limited to Firewall policies, routing, switching, network connectivity and performance troubleshooting.
- Respond to Server and Network Alerts
- Office 365 and Azure Administration and troubleshooting.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking ownership of monitoring alerts and reported end-user issues including contact customers upon receipt of a ticket, validate the priority of the issue, schedule service within the desired time frame, provide updates to clients accordingly and properly record/categorize/update all client incidents and requests in ticketing system.
- Serve as the escalation point for our front-line technical support. Answering questions and resolving basic computer problems in an expedient manner; troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity related problems.

What You Need to Succeed:
- 3+ years of back office Server support
- Post secondary education in computer science or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- Understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems
- Diagnostic skills of technical issues. Understand support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide services
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and active listening), interpersonal skills and the ability to perform professionally in a fast-passed environment
- Detail oriented, organized, excellent time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Customer focused - Patient, approachable, and able to adapt quickly to change
