Duties and Responsibilities:
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements.
Utilize various welding techniques, including MIG, with a willingness to learn TIG.
Ensure all materials and parts are properly prepared for welding.
Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of welding equipment and tools.
Execute tasks efficiently, safely, and within specified timeframes.
Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Achieve performance targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Prior welding experience or completion of vocational training in welding.
Ability to successfully pass CWB certification.
Proficiency in a wide range of welding procedures and practices.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Possess physical dexterity, strength, and endurance to undertake welding tasks.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to meeting industry standards.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work various shifts.
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
