Description

Located out of our Calgary Head Office, the individual in the Student, Transportation SCM position will be responsible for supporting the Transportation Business Unit. They will assist in providing critical support for various supply chain management initiatives with the business unit.

• Assist with procurement activities such as RFx, PO creation, and PO administration
• Support with contracts administration activities such as updating contract information in SAP Sourcing
• Aid team members in responding to SCM inquiries in a timely manner
• Perform invoice resolution activities
• Attend meetings and capture relevant decisions and action items
• Support in other supply chain related activities - as required

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management or related
• Genuine interest and passion for the field of procurement
• Preference given to candidates with prior work experience obtained through an internship, coop, or summer job
• Strong computer skills – MS suite and SAP
• Ability to accurately analyze information and be adaptable to changing priorities
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, highly motivated with ability to effectively manage time

Hours:
Monday to Friday work schedule; 8 hours per day
4 month term (May – August 2024)
As this position is identified as security sensitive, employment of a final candidate will be conditional upon completion of pre-employment criminal background check assessments with satisfactory results.
