About the Company:
Our client is an established civil construction company specializing in rehabilitation and construction services in the Durham Region. Operating for 15+ years, they have successfully built their organization and secured many projects in their industry. They are rapidly growing and are seeking a CCTV Opeator to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the cutting unit to cut out the service laterals of the cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) by directing the actions of the unit through the sewer system
- Deploy and operate specialized equipment to conduct inspections inside lines to determine if cleaning, repairs and reinstatement of service laterals after rehabilitation (cutting taps) are needed
- Maintain equipment in good operating condition by adjusting, cleaning, lubricating and performing minor repairs
- Complete all required reports and paperwork
- Work closely with supervisors, clients and peers on the installation crew
- Drive various vehicles when required
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:- 2+ years experience as a CCTV Operator
- Experience working in Construction is a must
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and computer skills
- Valid AZ/DZ Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract
- Certification in TDG, Working at Heights, 4 Steps, WHMIS, etc.
- Knowledge of CVOR requirements (log books, hours of service, inspections, etc.)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety Standards and Regulations
