Position Overview
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure a well-coordinated reception and distribution of all materials, all while ensuring compliance of all company health and safety regulations. They oversee a team of warehouse personnel, remodel procedures, and make certain material is controlled and organized.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work closely with various departments to ensure successful and accurate product transfers.
- Oversee warehouse and packaging staff with daily tasks as required and lead by example.
- Ensure all required paperwork for the packaging and production teams are completed accurately.
- Determine the delegation of tasks.
- Train and coach new and existing employees.
- Ensure all product weights, containers, and pallets are accounted for before they are sent to the customer.
- Track warehouse inventory and assist with annual inventory counts.
- Notify the Maintenance Team of any equipment failures, department supply needs, and product issues including damage or contamination.
- Develop a systemized warehouse map to ensure floor and scaffolding are in accordance with company standards.
- Work with third-party storage for the shipping, receiving, and inventory of materials.
- Follow all established Safe Work Procedures, and Health & Safety regulations including Forklift and mobile machine/tool safety, and shipping compound safety.
- Ensure all warehouse areas are well maintained to ensure a safe working environment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Implementation of newly improved procedures.
- Move materials around the compound using a forklift or by hand as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years in a warehouse role with 1 year experience in a leadership position.
- Strong communication skills.
- Capable of sustained physical effort while working with components up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to identify problems and provide solutions.
- Effectively multi-task and prioritize competing priorities.
- Detailed oriented with a keen eye for process improvement and optimization.
- Possess a forklift certification.
- Possess a valid drivers license and vehicle.

Salary
- The wage ranges from $22.00-$25.00 per hour.
