Job description

Are you looking for a new opportunity to work as in a large Fabrication shop as a supervisor? Our client here in Guelph is looking for a strong competent Fabrication supervisor to work on their afternoon shift!

If you are an experience welder fitter and supervisor experience working in a custom shop then this may be the role for you!

Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this Fabrication Welder Supervisor

- MIG and FLUX core experience
- Custom fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings
- supervision of team
- Manage Work in Progress & maintain Afternoon Shift Shop Production Schedules.
- Ensure that all assemblies are correctly fitted as per issued fabrication drawings.
- Ensure that correct welding procedures are being utilized by the welders.
- Ensure hours are logged to proper job and reported weekly to payroll. (Sign off Production Trackers)

Qualifications
What does this Fabrication Supervisor role require?

- Own Transportation and the ability to work in Guelph
- Strong knowledge on interpreting Engineered drawings
- Strong Welding and fitting experience
- MOL supervisor awareness training an asset
- CWB tickets valid or expired an asset
- crane experience required
