We are currently hiring a Shipper / Receiver for our Langley, British Columbia yard to assist with fast-paced and challenging projects.

Duties/Responsibilities - Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, custom forms, invoices, and other shipping documents manually or by computer.
- Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.
- Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
- Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate staging areas.
- Maintain internal, manual, or computerized record-keeping systems.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintains a clean, neat, yard.
- Contact supplier and resolve any shipping issues.
- May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
Qualifications / Skills: - Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock.
- Receiving stocking, and stacking stock.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong sense of time and urgency.
- Able to work independently and within a team.
- Must be able to bend and lift heavy boxes.
- Well-organized, task oriented, and reliable.
- Ability to think quickly and resolve issues.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Previous construction experience.
- Must have valid Cass 5 drivers license.
- Must have CSTS certificate.
- Must have valid Zoom Boom ticket.
