To support our North American team, we are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join us on a temporary contract, with the possibility of an extension. You will act as the main contact for questions and actions related to all employee life cycle events for our colleagues across offices in Canada and the USA. With a system and process mindset combined with your aspiration for continuous improvement and collaboration across, you will take ownership of a variety of key processes and projects.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Act as the first point of contact for employee questions and inquiries on company programs and policies
- Coordinate employee experience from onboarding to offboarding
- Lead operational components of annual cycle projects in close collaboration with Human Resources Business Partners, such as policy updates, salary benchmarks, reviews, promotions, employee evaluations, etc.
- Work in close collaboration with key stakeholders and various "Centres Of Excellence (COE)" Teams at the group level to direct process improvement and optimization efforts
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure all pay-related items are current and compliant
- Oversee reporting, system administration, and data integrity efforts

On top of that, you will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in human resources, with familiarity and knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices
- A CPHR designation or in the process of obtaining (preferred)
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail combined with comprehensive process management and follow-through
- The ability to work effectively in a busy, detail-oriented environment where multiple projects are in motion at all times
- Proficiency in computer applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
