Job description
Our company PRAKASH DRYWALL Ltd is based in Surrey, BC and is carrying out all kinds of residential construction and renovations etc. Our company is currently hiring 2 Carpenters to work in various construction sites across Lower Mainland, BC
Job responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood and wood substitutes
- Fit, trim and install wood items such as doors, stairs and other hardware
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures
Job Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary School
- Completion of 3-4 year apprenticeship program OR 2-3 years of related work experience
Job Terms:
- Wage: $31.00 per hour
- Job Location: Based out of 6306 128 STREET SURREY BC V3X1S8 and Various Locations Across the Lower Mainland
- Hours: 40 hours per week. Full-time, permanent position
