Job description

The primary scope of work required from the Consultant will be to support the change planning, development and delivery of organizational change management and communications activities within the Finance and Logistics Services Project of the SAP MP. The Consultant will work closely with the Change Manager, business resources, staff from the SAP MP program office, SAP Service Management, and client stakeholders

The Consultant’s primary role is to work closely with the Functional Change Manager to complete and report on the deliverables as assigned. In addition, the responsibilities of the Consultant include:
• Providing support to the broader OCM leadership team on items such as:
• Content development for leadership teams, committees etc.
• Risk and issue escalation and mitigation planning
• Supporting training development and delivery; and
• Adhering to SAP SM Division policies and procedures

Responsibilities
the Change Management Specialist is responsible for the following organizational change management and communications activities:

• Participating and providing change management support to the Organizational Change Management, Business Process Transformation, Service & Sustainment and Technology Transformation teams.
• Works in partnership and supports other Change Management Specialists, Functional Change Managers and the OCM leadership team members.
• Provides primary support to the Functional Change Manager in the development and execution of all change activities and deliverables such as, Change Impact Analysis (CIA), organizational change action planning, development of change reports and dashboards, stakeholder assessments, leadership alignment activities, change readiness initiatives, change network design and delivery, functional change management work plans.
• Gathers, monitors, and manages change impact data, including data collection, organization, and analysis for the Change Impact Assessment (CIA) and Organizational Change Action Plans
• Develops dashboards and reports.
• Coordinates change management activities, including scheduling meetings, workshops, and engagements in accordance with standards set by the Program.
• Manages document control for change deliverables.
• Creates content, for key communications and engagements e.g., presentations, overviews, and summaries, reference materials etc.
• Supports the development of the change readiness, adoption, and knowledge transfer plans.

Qualifications
The Change Specialist must have the following qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a change analyst, specialist, consultant, or equivalent and/or comparable role.
• Professional change management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP, etc.)
• Experience supporting organizations, departments, or teams through significant business process change and IT systems change.
• Experience supporting the development and execution of change management deliverables, including:
o Change strategies and/or plans
o Change impact assessment and analysis
o Organizational change action plans
o Business process designs
o Stakeholder analysis and assessments
o Change networks
o Change impact assessments
o Organizational change plans
• Experience supporting the delivery of a change management plan
• Superior communication skills, including listening, speaking, writing, and presenting
• Ability to facilitate to large and small groups
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage in collaborative work with a variety of stakeholders and team members
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office suite of products Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
• Uncompromising attention to detail
• Ability to plan and deliver quality work amidst numerous competing (and constantly changing) priorities and firm deadlines
• Effective when collaborating as part of a team and working independently
• Is a natural influencer and relationship builder and places the stakeholder experience as a top priority
Desired Qualifications:
The following qualifications would be considered an asset, but not required:
• Experience supporting change management activities in a public sector environment
• Experience working in a project environment
• Experience supporting SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solutions
• SAP knowledge / experience, ideally S/4HANA
• Experience working as part of a large Organizational Change Management team.
