Loader Operator – construction. Moore Brothers Construction Limited. Location Bedford, NS. Salary 25.00 to 30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 to 50 hours per week, Full time. Responsibilities: Operate heavy equipment. Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Utilize material safety data sheets (MSDS). Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Secure special attachments to equipment. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Credentials, Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses. Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate. Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate. Experience and specialization. Type of heavy equipment operated. Backhoe excavator, loader. Area of work experience, Backfilling, Ditching, Excavation, Fine grading and finishing, Land clearing, Material handling, Slope grooming, Sloping and banking, Snow removal, Stock piling, Stripping, Stumping, Sub-grade excavating, Sub-grade rolling, Trenching, Type of industry experience. Industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) construction. Large diameter pipeline construction. Residential construction. Road construction. Additional information. Transportation/travel information. Own transportation. Own vehicle. Willing to travel regularly. Valid driver's licence. Travel expenses paid by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities. Fast-paced environment.
