  The Headlines:  

In the role of HR Senior Admin Assistant working in Chilliwack, BC you will be part of the Fraser Valley Brewery HR Team. You will be responsible for providing senior general administrative support to the HR Manager, while also flexing time to support Education and Training initiatives. Specifically, some of the key responsibilities will include compilation and production of complex information, creating of reports and presentations, delivering training, and supporting brewery-wide initiatives.

This position reports to the HR Manager .  

The Responsibilities:  

• Support complex HR initiatives
• Responsible for complex office activities
• Responsible for high-level correspondence through verbal, email, telephone, and mail correspondence
• Ownership of Employee Engagement activities, Wellness activities, and community involvement initiatives
• Compile and analyze complex information
• Produce charts, tables, reports, and presentation materials
• Preparation and filing of key records, statistics, and reports
• Administer programs, projects, or other processes specific to HR and Education and Training
• Creates and revises procedures and updates systems by analyzing best operating practices, past practice, and the Collective Agreement
• Perform vacation coverage for Payroll Coordinator
• Ad-hoc activities and requests as required

The Other Qualifications:   

• High School Diploma
• Possess at least 5 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant
• Previous work experience supporting an HR function
• Previous work experience in a unionized environment
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suites
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive data

Job Posting Salary Range : $61,800-$80,400
