Job description
OVERVIEW
The Arcade Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of Arcade Attendants to ensure guests of the arcade facility receive outstanding customer service. In addition, this individual is responsible for ensuring the facility is sufficiently stocked and all machines are in working order.
JOB DUTIES
- Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
- Adheres to Suns Timekeeping Policy by reviewing, verifying accuracy, approving and submitting direct report(s) time recorded.
- Partners with Team Relations on team member counseling and recommendation of termination when appropriate.
- Conducts team member performance reviews and recommends compensation adjustments.
- Supervises Arcade Attendants to ensure all standard procedures are carried out and all expectations are properly met.
- Manages inventory by placing online orders and reviewing incoming shipments.
- Handles customer inquiries and complaints in a timely fashion and a professional manner; provides answers to questions, makes recommendations, and escalates issues as necessary.
- Monitors the conduct of guests in the arcade facility to ensure orderliness, calling security as necessary to handle disruptive customers.
- Completes daily and monthly sales reports.
- Ensures the arcade is clean and presentable at all times.
- Troubleshoots coin machine issues as necessary; removes coin accepter mechanism, inserts coins, and observes machine operation.
- Places out-of-order signs on defective machines and returns money lost in defective machines to customer.
- Cleans and maintains the redemption counter and machines; ensures prize inventory is kept neat, attractively displayed, and sufficiently stocked.
- Assists guests in redeeming winning tickets for prizes.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Education (some HS education required)
- 6 months experience in customer service.
- 6 months experience handling cash and credit/debit transactions.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Professional appearance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to use Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
