Our Team: Tech Growth Strategy, who we are:
The EA Technology Growth Strategy team creates the forward-thinking momentum for EA to evolve, keep the roadmap relevant to changing needs and build an innovation-focused environment to stay ahead of the curve. We are the team responsible for connecting EA Tech Leadership across the gaming portfolio of electronic arts with technology and software vendors outside of EA. This team is evolving and is in need of a dynamic individual who is capable of managing complex workstreams, leading large-scale projects and is passionate about technology. You will work in close collaboration with SEs, product managers, analysts, designers, and developers to deliver innovative solutions that our players and game creators need.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Technology Growth, and working closely with the Head of Technology Partnerships, you will support our External Partnerships activities, facilitate collaborations, manage operational strategies, and lead engagements, ensuring seamless integration and mutual growth.
Responsibilities
You will build and manage workflow for engagements with industry partners. You will work closely with the Head of Technology Partnerships to define evaluation metrics and processes for partnerships and shared projects. You will drive the process, ensure efficacy, and report progress regularly.
You will facilitate strong relationships with industry partners. Maintain communications, handle NDA administration, facilitate partnership integration and oversee the customer journey and act as a liaison between internal teams and vendors.
You will drive the development of a strategy for technology partnerships. You will work with the product group and Technology Growth leadership team to prioritize organizational goals, identify opportunities, build strategic plans and execute against them.
You will build relationships with internal EA teams to identify business needs, influence tech strategy, and enhance internal connections.
You will organize and drive meetings and events, and our participation in other relevant events, both inside and outside of EA, with the goal of communicating our work, strengthening our relationships, and fostering a culture of innovation.
You will manage internal communications, operational structure, cross-team coordination, and document organization. You will prepare and deliver presentations for a wide variety of audiences at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
5+ years experience working in the gaming industry. Must understand the video game industry, market trends, and player behaviour.
Must be experienced at information management and organization.
Proficiency in operations and business strategy is required.
Must have experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools for efficient storage, organization, and retrieval of partner information.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies is desirable.
Familiarity with game development software like Unity, Unreal Engine, and understanding of programming languages such as C++ and Python is beneficial.
Excellent skills in continuous process improvement for team processes are crucial.
