Position: Alarm Technician
Wage: $23.50 - $30.00/Hr
Hero security is a security company in high-end residential, commercial Security Alarm and Automation. We are looking to hire a full time confident and experienced low voltage alarm technician with 1 or more years of experience with the following skills:
Responsibilities and Duties
- Installation of new Alarm Systems, Security Camera Systems, and Access Control
- Service and troubleshooting of Burglar alarm systems from different manufacturers (DSC, Honeywell, GE and more)
- Low Voltage Wiring for Residential and Commercial
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the clients
- Document installation and wiring records
Qualifications and Skills
- Completion of high school diploma and some post-secondary education in electronics or related discipline is an asset.
- Have excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Have your own hand tools including multi-meter.
- Have a valid BC driver's license
- Experience in Residential and Commercial Low voltage wiring would be an asset.
- Knowledge of other low voltage systems would be an asset.
- Reliable, Self-motivated, positive, Conscientious, and hard working
- Able to work independently and under pressure without supervision and with others.
- Able to resolve site problems and work with general contractors or project managers.
- A good troubleshooter and have some knowledge of older systems.
- Be willing to uphold and practice our company's high-quality workmanship and adapt to the company policies.
