We are growing our team at Marianhill in response to the new Fixing Long-Term Care Act.  We are increasing the number of PSW and RPN staff and to assist with this growth in our organization. Therefore, we are recruiting for a Quality Improvement/Risk Management Coordinator.

Marianhill is a not-for-profit organization that provides long-term care, complex continuing care, community support services and palliative care services. Marianhill is accredited with Exemplary Standing.

Coordinator of Quality Improvement and Risk Management 

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you’ll have familiarity with the key elements of strategic and public quality improvement planning; have an understanding of outcome measurement and statistical analysis. The Coordinator must consult and support all departments and committees on matters related to QI/RM and relevant legislation (i.e. Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2022) including the creation and publication of policies and procedures; facilitates QI/RM activities, provides project support and documents results. The Coordinator must consult and support all departments and committees on matters related to QI/RM; facilitates QI/RM activities, provides project support and documents results and accomplishments of QI initiatives; knowledge of health and safety legislation, employment legislation and organizational roles and responsibilities; and identifies, reports and prevents workplace incidents.

 

Qualifications

 

Please note proof as per Marianhill policy of required vaccinations, including but not limited to influenza, etc., is required as well as proof of a 2-Step Mantoux TB Skin Test dated within the last year with a current updated 1-Step. You will be required to provide an original, vulnerable sector criminal record check clear of any/all offences and sign a declaration at time of hire. Education certificate, diploma or otherwise must be provided to the Employer and you must participate in the N95 Mask Fit Testing Program as applicable.
