Our client is a Vancouver-based fully integrated real estate company. They manage a portfolio of 18 million square ft of diverse, high quality real estate assets. Our service offerings include project management, commercial and residential property management, leasing and sustainability services. Our dedicated project management team oversees substantive and complex capital projects. They have the in-house capabilities to manage any capital projects including deep energy retrofits, lobby renovations, amenity upgrades, elevator modernizations, exterior improvements, fitness facilities and others.
Your new role
As Project Manager you will have the opportunity to plan, coordinate and manage various landlord or tenant improvements, capital and building improvement projects for the properties under our management. The Project Manager will be the key contact for the projects assigned and will work with all stakeholders (owners, property managers, building operators, tenants, and contractors) to ensure budgets, timelines and project specifications are met. The Project Manager will report to the Senior Project Manager. You will be the primary point of contact between consultants, trades, building operations and property management teams to facilitate the project from conception to completion.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must be a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a high level of organizational skills. Candidates for consideration should have 3+ years’ experience as a Project Manager. A Degree or Diploma in a related field will be highly valued (preference for construction management or engineering). Knowledge of BOMA and LEED standards would certainly be an asset. Experience working on varied TI or capital projects in the $500k-$3m range will be particularly relevant.

In exchange for your hard work and commitment, you will earn an attractive compensation package including a competitive base salary of $80-120K (commensurate with experience level), discretionary bonus, 4% RSP matching, and benefits including health spending and education allowance. We offer a permanent hybrid work environment, allowing you to split your time between home and the company head office in Downtown Vancouver.
