Role and Facility Information

Come work as an Emergency Physician with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!

Richmond Hospital is a busy 200+ bed community teaching hospital in the heart of the culturally diverse city of Richmond, BC. It is near the Vancouver airport and a short 20-minute drive to downtown Vancouver. We are apart of Vancouver Coastal Health and we see approximately 58,000 ED visits per year. The hospital is fully supported by most services and within very close proximity to those services not on-site. In the Emergency Department, we currently have 21 full-time members as well as locums on staff and have 8 scheduled shifts per day. We see a diverse mix of both adult and paediatric patients. We are looking for interested emergency physicians to join our group as locums with a long term view. We will be hiring for 1 FT and 3 x 0.5 PT Emergency Physicians

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, & Experience:
As per the current Public Health Orders (Long Term Care/Seniors Assisted Living Provincial Health Officer Order and the Health Sector Order), as of October 26, 2021, all employees and medical staff working for Vancouver Coastal Health must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Proof of vaccination status will be required
