As our Human Resources Coordinator, you’ll be part of shaping HR initiatives, ensuring that our colleagues and leaders are fully supported. You’ll dive into a variety of HR programs, working with our Sr. HR Business Partner, to deliver top-notch solutions and best practices providing our colleagues the best experience.
More about your responsibilities:
- Provide thorough and responsive HR service, addressing inquiries and concerns from colleagues and leaders .
- Drive innovation in HR programs and initiatives to elevate organizational practices .
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for plant positions and support all other Packaging Services Business Unit roles .
- Support exceptional onboarding experience for new colleagues, including orientation sessions and team integration .
- Support recognition and celebration of colleagues' achievements, including milestone events .
- Design, prepare, and distribute HR communications .
- Manage resignation and retirement processes .
- Support implementation of annual HR training initiatives for compliance and skill enhancement .
- Participate in local job fairs and community events for talent acquisition .
- Collaborate with Corporate Administrator to plan and execute team-building events .
- Maintain workplace visual identity through signage and branding materials .
- Act as the main point of contact for disability claims in consultation with Sr. HR Business Partner .
- Attend periodic HR team meetings in London for collaboration and alignment .
What you’ll bring

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources and strong understanding of HR competencies, trends, principles, and practices
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience
- Proven ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality, tact, and empathy
- Strong analytical, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ownership of carrying out responsibilities, using creativity and resourcefulness to achieve desired results
- Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Canva, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Familiarity with HR software and systems is an asset
- Experience within a pharmaceutical or food environment is an asset
