Our client is a national distributor with multiple facilities across Canada and a strategic growth plan. This role will report to the Manager FP&A and work in HQ with a small team in Brampton. This is an excellent opportunity and great timing to start with a newly acquired ,PE backed company in aggressive growth mode.
About the role: Reporting to the Manager of FP&A, Senior Financial Analyst will be a big picture thinker and have a voice at the table for making recommendations supported by thorough analysis and accounting.
Responsibilities include: - Complex financial modelling
- Preparation of monthly management financial statement and variance reports and support of the monthly reporting package
- Industry research, planning and analysis
- Banking, cash flow and treasury analysis
- Involvement in various projects with the Leadership Team
About the candidate: - Post secondary education in accounting or finance, and CPA designation or near completion
- 3-5 years of full-cycle accounting and financial analysis experience is required
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written are required
- Treasury experience, multi-currency and multi-entity experience is an asset
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and an ERP system;
- Detail-oriented and committed to quality and high accuracy of work;
