Our expectations
Reporting to the Director of Culture and Talent Development, the Senior Organizational Development Advisor plays a key role in leadership development, aligning with RONA's business and cultural priorities. They ensure its implementation in collaboration with various stakeholders while promoting the adoption of best practices, standards, and learning strategies in line with industry standards. The incumbent is also committed to implementing key talent management programs, including performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning. Not only do they ensure the establishment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of these programs, but they also serve as an expert in their field for the entire organization.
Your role
- Contributes to the design and implementation of performance management, talent review, and succession planning programs for our entire network in Canada (stores, distribution centers, and head office).
- Gathers and analyzes data on our talent and translates it into concrete actions to support their development.
- Develops and facilitates multiple development and/or team-building workshops.
- Creates guides, tools, and delivers training to support internal clients.
- Works closely with HR business partners, empowering and supporting them in the implementation and monitoring of programs.
- Actively participates in the deployment of our corporate culture and acts as an ambassador.
- Contributes to the strategy and coordination of leadership programs.
- Collaborates with the Chief Culture, Diversity, and Inclusion Manager on various projects.
- Collaborates with external vendors and ensures rigorous monitoring of project progress, activities, and clarity of objectives, expectations, and agreements.
- Builds strong relationships based on trust, collaboration, and integrity.
- Continuously updates expertise and contributes to the continuous improvement of the service.
The qualifications we are looking for

The skills we are looking for
- University degree in a relevant field (Adult education, organizational development, HR).
- Postgraduate studies are an asset.
- Certifications in psychometric assessment such as MBTI are an asset.
- At least 5 years of experience in leadership development and talent management.
- Experience in the retail industry is an asset.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite and experience with talent management systems and LMS (including Workday) are preferred.
- Mastery of adult education principles.
- Ability to facilitate and conduct various workshops for both associates and managers.
- Excellent knowledge of project management and change management.
- Recognized ability to act as a strategic partner to address business needs urgently in a complex and dynamic environment.
- Exceptional collaborator, with a strong ability to work in teams and guide without direct authority.
- Comfortable interacting with senior management and accessing confidential information.
- Ability to work autonomously, handling multiple projects simultaneously in an organized, structured, and rigorous manner.
- Capability to collect, organize, analyze, and report data accurately, timely, and meaningfully.
- Our Hybrid Workplace Policy establishes that associates need to have a reliable transportation to and from our corporate head office located in Boucherville (Quebec), to come to the office on a regular basis.
- We require all our head office associates to be proficient in French, spoken and written.
