The position at a glance

The Client Engagement and Protection (CEP) Regulatory is a client-focused communication team devoted to handling the regulatory onboarding and notification process of new and substantial regulatory challenges facing our clients in the Americas.

In detail

• Facilitate the regulatory onboarding of clients, ensuring that the client is compliant with all regulatory requirements during onboarding.
• Analyzing and determining the regulations for the client’s onboarding. 
• Liaise with clients, internal and external stakeholders, to obtain answers in the form of affirmative responses, classification codes, and or documentation to satisfy the myriad of industry regulation (MIFID, FATCA/AEOI, EMIR, Dodd Frank, CFTC Rules, etc.) governing the respective products or activity. 
• Timely updating of the Standard operating procedures and internal systems like SharePoint and so on. 
• Assist in identifying the operational process improvement in production, control procedures and workflow to increase team’s efficiency, training plans. 
• Assist in any special project or request by the management.
• Conducting trainings to the new joiner/new regulations in place/cross trainings for regulations/process
• Active participation in team meetings
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities (multi-task) – meet tight deadlines.
• Pro-active and decisive mindset

The strengths and skills that will help you succeed

Minimum Required Qualifications

• 0 to 2 years of relevant financial industry experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in projects involving banking operations, rules and regulations that govern banking operations (i.e., FINRA, Dodd Frank, CFTC, EMIR, etc.)
• Strong sense of urgency with respect to deadlines and the responsibility at hand 
• Rigorous attention to detail 
• Articulate/Excellent communication skills.
• Must know how to use Excel functions such as v-lookups, pivot table and have an understanding of how to organize/analyze data sets. 
• Working knowledge of computers and of standard software (MS Suite); proficiency with MS Excel
• Excellent communications skills, (oral and written)
• Educational experience – BA or BS

Preferred qualifications : 

• Knowledge of the English is required

Portuguese, other languages a plus

• Project Management skill or certifications is a plus
