Position : Carpenter

Job Description : We are currently in search of a highly skilled carpenter who possesses a comprehensive understanding of diverse carpentry techniques. The ideal candidate for this position will be characterized by diligence, reliability, and excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Hours : 44 hours per week

Salary : Salary to be discussed based on experience.

Responsibilities :

• Framing, installing floor, laying sub-flooring and installing walls and roofing systems.
• Fitting and installing window frames, trim, doors, stairs, molding and hardware.
• Measuring, cutting and joining materials made of wood or wood substitutes.
• Repairing and renovating wooden structures.
• Utilize a range of hand and power tools proficiently to complete tasks efficiently.
• Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and project managers to facilitate smooth project progression.
• Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are consistently followed. Cleans up worksite debris.

Requirements and Skills

• 2 years of experience in commercial or residential carpentry.
• Ability to work in a team environment with customers and other employees.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Must have own transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Specialty tools will be company supplied; you will need to provide your own basic hand tools/tool bag.
