Job description

Randstad is excited to support one of our established client's, located in Burlington, ON, in their search for a AutoCAD Designer to join their expanding team. Our client has had year-on-year growth and are therefore looking to bring on an individual who is passionate about growing and developing within their career. Responsibilities

•Develop reinforced concrete drawings based on design provided by engineers
•Coordinate with engineers, shop and construction operations to meet fabrication and constructability requirements
•Develop mechanical drawings based on contractual requirements
• Develop shop drawings (steel plate and piping)
•Perform tasks involving 3-D modelling

Qualifications
• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Mechanical Technology or related field.

• High proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD, and 3-D modelling
• Experience with structural steel, reinforced concrete and mechanical design
• Understanding of engineering principles, assembly, fabrication, and construction
• Experience with Quantity Take-Offs an asset
