Position Summary


Founded in 2017, the Centre for Indigegogy has prevailed as an elite body for Indigenous centered, wholistic professional development programming, offering education to the community. Situated within the Master of Social Work (MSW) Indigenous Field of Study program at Wilfrid Laurier University, the Centre offers thirty-five (35) modules, spanning four (4) certificates, including four (4) standalone wholistic professional development courses. We are proud to offer year-round programming, in addition to customized trainings with organizations across Turtle Island. This position is foundational to the ongoing coordination and development of the Centre for Indigegogy.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time, continuing position. Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. Flexibility in hours may be required, including occasional evening and/or weekend work due to event coordination and student supervision. Should this work be required, prior notice will be provided, and flexible work arrangements will be made accordingly.

Compensation

$32.74 to $34.62 per hour with an annual step progression on anniversary date up to $37.43 per hour.

Considerations for new hire step placements include, qualifications and length/depth of required experience, relevant market rates for similar jobs, internal equity, and estimated learning curve in starting the job.
