Position: Accountant
Location: Montreal (Decarie Boulevard) 5 days on-site
Salary: $65,000 to $70,000 (based on experience)

As an Accountant , you'll step into a pivotal role overseeing all accounting operations, where you'll lead and guide a dedicated team with ample opportunities for growth and development.

Main Requirements:

- At least 3 years of full cycle accounting experience
- Fluently bilingual required for communications in the US
- Advanced Excel
- Certificate in accounting (Bachelor's degree in accounting ideal) 

Main Responsibilities:

- Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheets, intercompany transactions, general ledgers, and bank accounts
- Manage fixed assets and liabilities within the general ledger
- Analyze expenses and identify areas for cost optimization
- Monitor sales account variances and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare adjustment entries to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Coordinate and prepare for year-end audits, providing necessary documentation and support
- Conduct accounting analysis on transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Manage Canadian tax reporting requirements
