Job description

Sierra Supply Chain Services is on the search for a Logistics Coordinator to join us at our Mississauga office. 

Position Details: 


What You will do :

The primary objective of the Logistics Coordinator is to ensure the seamless transportation of meat products across local & international borders, meeting stringent time and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in coordinating container imports of frozen protein into Canada, with exposure to CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency) and CBSA (Canada Border Services Agency) regulations.

 

Accountabilities and Detailed Activity:

International Container Coordination (Ocean Freight)

Logistics Coordination (Truck and Rail) (Can,US,Mex)


Shipment Planning

Shipment Tracking & Management

Customer Support

Paperwork & Documentation Management

Competencies:                                              Service & Support (S&S)

Soft Skills: Developed Communication (written & verbal), problem-solving, adaptability, time management, Accuracy and Attention to Detail, Numerical Literacy & Mathematical Abilities, Customer relations & client engagement
