Your future role
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and navigate Process Logic Controllers for automation systems
- Assist and lead in troubleshooting control systems, including drive speed/torque controller or any process control loop, and to develop action plans to resolve any issues
- Solve measurement or control problems related to PLC’s, PC’s, drives and sensors
- Experience integrating multiple networks like DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Profinet
- Perform physical or software work on any process sensor (flow, pressure, temperature, speed, tension etc.) or associated regulation systems of the above sensors.
- Assist others in any reliability or improvement initiative within the measurement and control system field
Required skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Process Automation degree or similar or a minimum of five years working experience directly involving control systems maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens drives is considered an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to take initiative; highly self-motivated
- Ability to occasional work hours other than regular schedule such as days, nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, and rotating shifts
- Ability to operate a company vehicle, valid driver’s license
- Ability to proficiently utilize laptop computers, multi-meters, and other calibration equipment
