Job description

Do you have 2-3 years warehouse, receiving or order picking experience? Are you seeking a daytime role in a friendly, family like business? Apply now for this contract to hire, full time position in North West Winnipeg (south of the airport).

Ideal candidate will work well independently and in a small group. Friendly, team player is desired.

Permanent employment will be available following the term, provided you can demonstrate good attendance and reliability.

Advantages
-Monday to Friday
-Daytime hours starting at 8:30am
-Starts temporary but has the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate
-$17-19/hour based on experience
-Bus route accessible
-Paid weekly via direct deposit
-4% vacation pay paid weekly

Responsibilities
-Order picking using a pick list
-Preparing shipments
-Some computer work
-Loading and unloading skids
-Lifting boxes containing stock of clothing items, boxes weigh up to 45 lbs.
-Receiving shipments and organizing inventory within the warehouse
-Ensuring that deadlines are being met
-Inventory management

Qualifications
- 2-3 years previous shipping/receiving or order picking experience

-Physically capable of repeat lifting of 45 lbs.
-Good attendance record/reliable
-Able to work effectively with others
