About the Company
Our client is a large food and beverage company. They are looking for a Corporate Finance Manager who supports the Human Resources, Corporate Affairs and Corporate Accounting & Reporting teams, in providing compliant, accurate and timely reporting and analysis.

About the Opportunity - Timely monthly review of performance against plan for the HR and Corporate Affairs teams. Including quarterly analysis and commentary against prior year and plan/LE, and identification of opportunities for savings
- Pension Compliance activities, including coordination with external actuary on inputs, requirements and deadlines
- Organization and planning of quarterly pension committee meetings. This includes ensuring all compliance items are performed, as well as bringing forward items that may impact the current structure and practices
- Keeping up to date with changes in accounting standards and internal reporting developments
- Support the Corporate Finance Team with external audit activity, including year end and statutory audits
- Providing assistance, as needed to the payroll team during CRA or other regulatory audits as needed
- Continually evaluate and challenge financial processes and reporting practices; implement changes as needed
- Provide special project or financial analysis as requested
- Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of financial information and upholding corporate policies and control of assets within areas of responsibility
About You - CPA Designated
- 5+ years of progressive Financial Reporting experience, either within an Accounting firm or Private Accounting (industry) or both
- Knowledge and experience with IFRS and Pension Reporting
Salary Range
Up to $115,000/year
