The Project Manager is responsible as the primary liaison between the product team and the partner/client to facilitate the efficient and timely delivery of OpusVi's products, which accelerates a learner’s ability to make a difference in the healthcare field.
The Project Manager doesn’t accept outdated approaches to project management, collaboration, connection, and communication. The Project Manager ensures that projects get done in a timely manner, but at the same time, always has an eye on our mission of producing quality products that wow the learner and our partners and clients.
Core Duties:
- Create and manage project plans across various types of learning product development efforts.
- Lead, coordinate, and track day-to-day activities required to ensure the project is completed on time, within the scope and within budget.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Establishes and cultivates high-quality relationships with internal and external parties.
- Interfaces with partners and clients to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide information.
- Work closely with the AVP of Production and Design to manage relationships and ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Collaborates with contracted production teams, full-time and part-time product design staff, partners, and external vendors to manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently; serving as the sole project manager.
- Regularly communicates with and updates partners, clients, and vendors regarding program progress, delivery dates, and metrics.
- Maintains internal documentation and templates.
- Makes recommendations for enhanced efficiencies in department processes and procedures.
- Monitors project budget and report potential discrepancies.
- Communicates in an effective, respectful, and inclusive manner.
- Contributes to an open, inventive, highly-collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Training, Instructional Design, Liberal Arts, or a related field
- Currently pursuing, or already completed, Project Management Certification
- At least 2+ years of experience in project management roles, preferably in an instructional design setting
- At least 3+ years of experience in Instructional Design, L&D, Product Design, or Corporate Training department
- Experience developing college-level online curriculum is preferred
- Experience defining and executing against program requirements
Ability to:
- Define and execute against program requirements.
- Work in a technology-rich environment using software including but not limited to Asana, Google Doc Suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Canvas.
- Drive a project to completion, owning the standard of completed work across multiple stakeholders to deliver an impactful learner experience.
- Communicate in a confident and engaging manner with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Analyze, ask questions, and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to work independently with little direction.
- Willing to seek feedback early and often. Welcome critique and respectful discourse.
