As a Site Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Senior Management to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Main Responsibilities: - Prepare overall work plan and schedule in conjunction with the Project Manager
- Collaborate with Senior Management to ensure projects are executed properly, on time, and within budget
- Coordinate with inspectors/consultants to ensure proper documentation and required inspections are completed
- Conduct safety meetings and inspections to maintain job site safety
- Schedule trades and order materials according to the construction schedule
- Manage labor force, assign tasks, and maintain accurate records
- Overall responsibility for the site

The Successful Applicant
- Education related to construction and/or equivalent work experience; Gold Seal, Red Seal, PMP, CET, is a significant asset
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a site superintendent on mid to high-rise projects
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Thorough knowledge of the Ontario Health and Safety Act and the Ontario Building Code
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to build respect and trust with subcontractors and team members
