Job description

The Victoria Faulkner Women's Centre has operated a drop in space for women identifying folks in Whitehorse, Yukon for nearly 50 years. The Board of Directors will begin strategic planning in the new year and set a strong direction for our work over the next 3-5 years. The incoming Executive Director will be a part of this process and step into a fresh mandate to deliver. Over the last three years we have focused our efforts on strengthening internal systems, such as finance and onboarding, and rebuilding our partnerships and community relationships since the pandemic closed our doors and pivoted our programming.

We are seeking a dynamic Executive Director who is committed to supporting the team to bring our vision to life and continuing to explore and lead decolonization efforts in our community with the Board. We offer a flexible employment space that is committed to feminism and anti oppression and making the values live through not only the programs we run but the workplace we operate.
