Job description
We are currently looking for great candidates for Oilfield Services Operators Positions across the province.
Job Outline: The operation and maintenance of equipment used in the extraction of oil and gas.
Which include overseeing the setup and operation of machinery, monitoring equipment performance, conducting routine inspections, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during drilling or extraction processes.
Additionally, operator's roles include tasks like mixing chemicals, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and collaborating with a team to optimize production efficiency in the oilfield.
Qualifications:
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent technical or vocational training in fields related to oil and gas operations is considered an asset.
Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills. Knowledge of operating and maintaining equipment, as well as troubleshooting common issues, is an asset.
Physical Fitness: The job often involves physically demanding tasks in challenging environments. Operators should be in good physical condition to handle the rigors of the job.
Communication Skills: Effective communication is essential; operators often work in teams and need to convey information clearly and follow safety protocols.
Problem-Solving Ability: Being able to quickly identify and address issues is crucial. Oilfield operations can encounter unexpected challenges, and operators should be adept at problem-solving.
Adherence to Safety Regulations: An understanding of and commitment to safety regulations is paramount. Oilfield operations can be hazardous, so operators must prioritize safety at all times.
A Class 5 license is required. You must be able to pass pre-employment screening.
