Job Description



The House of Commons Finance Services is currently looking to staff the Procurement Advisor position, and to create a pool of qualified candidates.

As the Procurement Advisor, you will provide procurement management advisory services to the House of Commons (HoC) and carry out integrated procurement management, supply management and contracting activities for a portfolio of HoC Service Areas, in accordance with the HoC Procurement policy and procedures. You apply sound management practices in support of the objectives and priorities of the Clerk, the Clerk’s Management Group, and the Chief Financial Officer to ensure due diligence with regard to the HoC guidelines on ethics and values and the principles of access, transparency and fairness within the procurement process.
