Job description

Relief Full Time Clinical Supervisor opportunity now available at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC.

The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 06:30 to 14:30, 07:00 to 15:00, 08:00 to 16:00, 08:30 to 16:30.

Days off: Sun,Sat,STAT

This position supervises clerical staff in the Medical Imaging Department, which involves coordination of workflow, evaluation, training and orientation of staff. Ensures that established standards are maintained. Acts as a resource person and performs a variety of clerical functions as required.

Education, Training and Experience:
Grade 12 and three years’ recent related experience including one year in a supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Skills and Abilities: 

• Ability to keyboard 50 wpm
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to deal with others effectively
• Ability to supervise
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
• Ability to operate related equipment
• Ability to organize work
