Who are we looking for?
Modern PURAIR South Okanagan is looking for an A-player who is extremely motivated to take on the position of Business Sales Development Manager for the South Okanagan area (Summerland to Osoyoos, including the Similkameen Valley). You will be a motivated self-starter who is customer-focused and goal-orientated. You have a hunger to chase and close new business from direct sales, cold calls, and warm leads. In this role, you will focus on increasing market share, product penetration, margin management, pipeline and lead management and other duties which have a direct impact on the overall performance of acquiring new customers.

Responsibilities:
- Making calls and asking for sales!
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport, introduce our services and arrange meetings.
- Conduct on-site estimates appointments.
- Provide written quotes and proposals within 1 business day.
- Close deals and convert our clients to Preventative Maintenance Agreements.
- CTO – Chief Thank You Officer … Thank our clients and ask for Google Reviews
- Attend conferences, trade shows, chamber events, and community networking events.
- Take care of our existing clients and ensure they are scheduled for upcoming services.
- Identifying new business opportunities and new prospects by researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
- Living in and focused on doing business development in the South Okanagan area.
- Develop and maintain a high level or product knowledge while keeping abreast of what competitors are doing.
- Keeping the General Manager informed of any issues that will need to be handled.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree or diploma in business or marketing would be preferred
- Proven experience in sales with the ability to close
- 3-5 years of relevant business development experience
- Experience selling HVAC and/or services would be an asset
- Strong familiarity with local business landscape, networking organizations and local business community
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to flourish and grow sales with minimal guidance
- In-depth understanding of the entire MS Office and Google Suite
- Comfortable using a computer for various tasks
Position Type: Permanent/ Full time
Hours of work: 40 hours/ week
Travel: Minimal
Compensation: Salaried plus competitive commission on everything sold. Eligible for benefits after 3 months and after 1 year RRSP matching. Company vehicle and cell phone provided. Unlimited earning potential.
