Job description

Under direct supervision, the Maintenance Worker I conducts a variety of basic maintenance repairs and performs a variety of general cleaning and grounds keeping duties. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 408 St. Michael's Collective Agreement.

Must be proficient with snow removal equipment, grounds keeping equipment, be able to work on a ladder, crouching, kneeling and standing for long periods of time. be able to work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions. able to lift 50 lbs. preference will be given to candidates with minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting knowledge.
