Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of comprehensive IT solutions, aligning with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into technical specifications, and propose innovative solutions.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Ensure architectural integrity and adherence to best practices throughout the solution lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, recommending strategic investments to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, offering technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams and senior leadership, fostering collaboration and alignment across departments.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT solution architecture, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects from conception to implementation.
• Prior experience working within the British Columbia healthcare industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of its unique challenges, regulations, and best practices.
• Possession of industry-standard certifications such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) or equivalent, showcasing expertise in enterprise architecture principles and methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in a variety of technical domains, including but not limited to cloud computing, cybersecurity, data management, and application development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
