We are looking for an adventure enthusiast willing to lead remote backpacking and canoeing tours between July and September 2024.

WAFA or higher first aid certification and class 4 driver license are a requirement for this position.

Training on company standards and procedures will be provided, as well as hands-on experience with an experienced guide from the company.

Your job will include the following duties:

• Trip preparation
• Pre-trip meeting with customers
• Guiding/interpreting the historical, cultural and natural environment while on tours
• Ensuring the safety of the customers along the trip
• Cooking meals while on the trip
• Driving the company vehicle

The following would be considered assets:

• Bilingual in French and English
• Extensive backpacking experience (most of our tours are hiking adventures)
• Certification in adventure tourism or mountain guide certification
• Local (Yukon) knowledge of fauna, flora and culture
