Operations Manager – Company-Wide Process Improvement & KPI Management Location: Surrey, BC Company Overview: Om Foods Inc, a leader in the organic food industry, prides itself on its dedication to quality and sustainability. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to drive company-wide process improvements and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring operational excellence and strategic alignment across the board. Job Summary: The Operations Manager at Om Foods Inc is a pivotal role responsible for enhancing operational practices, managing and setting KPIs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role involves overseeing comprehensive company-wide processes, from production and shipping to e-commerce fulfillment and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with a proven track record of optimizing processes and achieving measurable improvements. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments. Conduct all tasks related to hiring, performance audits, and off-boarding operations for all departments within operation. Implement and manage company-wide KPIs within manufacturing, shipping, and warehouse management. Lead process improvement initiatives, identifying inefficiencies and deploying solutions to enhance productivity and quality. Collaborate with teams across the company to understand operational challenges and develop strategies for improvement. Conduct performance evaluations, promoting high performance and supporting professional development. Organize engagement activities to build a positive and collaborative work environment. Ensure compliance with HR and legal standards, updating policies and procedures to support organizational efficiency. Mediate workplace conflicts, fostering a harmonious and productive environment. Provide HR guidance to management and team leaders, enhancing team management and effectiveness. Analyze labor market trends to ensure competitive compensation and equity. Manage payroll and benefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws. Lead diversity and inclusion efforts, creating an inclusive workplace for all employees. Identify and develop high-potential employees for leadership and career advancement. Proactively address operational inefficiencies, collaborating with stakeholders to streamline processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related experience. Proven experience and success with process improvement and day-to-day management. Extensive experience in operations management within production, shipping, e-commerce fulfillment, and business/warehouse operations and development. Demonstrated success in managing and improving operational processes and implementing KPIs within operations and software (ERP) Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and leading diverse teams. Proficient in analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving, with a hands-on approach to challenges. Experience with ERP software and proficiency in project management.
