The Special Investigations Unit currently has an opportunity available for a SIU Officer to join our Vancouver and or Coquitlam team. This role will be conducting investigations and preparing the reports required to support recommendations to Crown Counsel. You will work with managers and adjusters and provide guidance on investigation techniques helping them develop the skills needed to identify potentially fraudulent claims.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong knowledge and experience with the application of the relevant acts, legislation and regulations as they pertain to the investigation of insurance fraud, vehicle investigations, and related criminal activities. You will also have knowledge of civil litigation procedures and the Criminal Justice System, including experience providing guidance
to Crown Counsel. You must have or possess the qualifications to immediately obtain Special Provincial Constable Status in British Columbia. Experience with major case management is an asset.
