Overview
As the Senior Organizational Change Management Practitioner you will be responsible for providing strategic support to leadership on managing change. You will focus on the people side of change, creating and implementing plans to manage impacts related to changes, such as business processes, job roles, and organization structures. You will be responsible for change management strategies and work closely with the Manager and leadership to set the long-term vision for Enterprise Change Management (ECM) in the corporation. You will provide ongoing coaching and mentoring around good change management practices to leadership and project teams to increase their effectiveness in driving sustainable change.
Responsibilities
- Establishes and maintains Corporate ECM methodology and toolkit.
- Applies a structured methodology and leads change management activities.
- Supports the redesign and implementation of new business processes.
- Collaborates with key partners on continuous improvement of OCM methodology and processes, roles, and responsibilities.
- Conducts change impact assessments by analysing end to end process, determining impacts, identifying key stakeholders, and assessing change readiness.
- Partners with project resources at the program level to integrate change management activities into the project plan to ensure ongoing alignment.
- Develops and facilitates workshops on change leadership to leaders and staff.
- Drafts, designs, develops, delivers, and manages communications related to change management activities.
- Ensures all communications are developed and delivered to the intended audiences.
- Meets regularly with stakeholder leaders to discuss readiness activity status, concerns and risks related to their teams
- Attends project meetings to provide plan status updates to the project team to ensure that they are kept up to date on project changes.
- Oversees change activities at a program level to ensure alignment and remove barriers.
- Works with OCM Practitioners to identify and resolve program level risks and issues, escalating further as required.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a related field of study (Commerce, Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, Communications or Social Science).
- Prosci Certification and/or CCMP designation.
- Six years’ experience in developing and leading a variety of enterprise change initiatives using change and project management methodologies, including developing project plans, assessing training needs, writing strategies, plans and communications, and providing coaching and consulting services to leaders.
- Ability to build change programming and readiness strategies that support the achievement of business objectives. Experience in identifying relevant measures and then monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of change management interventions and activities.
- Must be willing and able to travel locally.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Access to a personal vehicle.
